The Big sand pattern of PVC indoor badminton flooring is a biomimetic texture structure specifically designed for badminton. By mimicking the streamlined shape and mechanical properties of feathers, it achieves synergistic optimization of anti-slip, and dynamic support.
Pattern Shape and Function
Bionic Inspiration: The Big Sand pattern features feather-shaped drainage grooves, a depth of 0.3–0.5 mm, and a spacing of 1.5–2 mm between grooves. This creates unidirectional drainage channels similar to bird feathers, enabling rapid dispersion of sweat and moisture.
Surface Micro-Protruding Particles: TPU anti-slip particles with a diameter of 0.1–0.2 mm are uniformly distributed on both sides of the channels, achieving a wet friction coefficient (COF) of 0.55–0.62, which is 30% higher than that of Litchi pattern.
Three-dimensional textured pattern: A wavy, undulating structure is formed through embossing, enhancing mechanical grip between the sole and the floor. During sudden stops, horizontal friction force reaches 220N (ISO 10545-2 standard).

Performance characteristics
Dynamic anti-slip: Feather-like grooves guide lateral friction force, with sideways sliding distance ≤5cm during sudden stops, outperforming standard floor mats by 40%.
Wet Stability: Micro-protruding particles on the surface interact with the grooves to create a “siphon effect,” absorbing three times their own weight in moisture. Slip resistance degradation in wet conditions is only 5%.
