Marine vinyl flooring is a specialized flooring material designed for the interiors of ships, yachts, cruise ships, and other watercraft. Unlike commercial or residential PVC flooring, its core features lie in its adaptability to the high humidity, salt spray corrosion, hull vibration, fire and explosion protection conditions of ships. It also considers slip resistance, ease of cleaning and maintenance, and lightweight design.
Salt Spray and Corrosion Resistant, Adaptable to Marine Environments
Through formula modification, anti-salt spray additives, UV stabilizers, and anti-aging agents are added to the base material, effectively resisting chloride ion corrosion and withstanding salt spray tests ≥1000 hours.
Slip-Resistant and Wear-Resistant
During ship navigation, turbulence and tilting are common, and slippery cabin floors (due to seawater leakage and cleaning residue) can easily cause passengers to slip and fall.
Meets the requirements of a dry coefficient of friction ≥0.7 and a wet coefficient of friction ≥0.6.
Features a patterned design and a wavy textured surface.
Impact Resistance and High Stability
Utilizing a high-density foamed cushioning layer with an impact absorption rate of ≥30%, it effectively buffers the impact of falling heavy objects or people slipping, while also reducing damage to the floor from ship vibrations. An internal fiberglass stabilizing layer effectively inhibits floor shrinkage and warping caused by temperature changes and ship deformation.
The wear-resistant layer is ≥0.3mm thick, withstanding frequent foot traffic, luggage dragging, and equipment movement.
Suitable for
Passenger ships, cruise ships, cargo ships, fishing boats, yachts, speedboats, etc. Vinyl sheet flooring or vinyl roll flooring are available.
